Banknotes issued between 1995 and 1999 will lose their legal tender status, and will be exchangeable for three years at the offices of the National Bank of Georgia, Kakheti Highway 72, Tbilisi.
The banknotes to be withdrawn are:
1 lari 1995 (GEL1.1A)
1 lari 1995 (GEL1.1B)
2 lari 1995 (GEL2.1A)
2 lari 1999 (GEL2.1B)
5 lari 1995 (GEL5.1A)
5 lari 1999 (GEL5.1B)
10 lari 1995 (GEL10.1A)
10 lari 1995 (GEL10.1B)
20 lari 1995 (GEL20.1A)
20 lari 1999 (GEL20.1B)
50 lari 1995 (GEL50.1A)
50 lari 1999 (GEL50.1B)
100 lari 1995 (GEL100.1A)
100 lari 1995 (GEL100.1B)
