The Central Bank of Eswatini has introduced upgraded E10 and E20 banknotes featuring enhanced security features and updated designs aimed at strengthening public confidence in the local currency.

The Central Bank of eSwatini has issued in May improved banknotes of 10 emalangeni (SZL10.8B) and 20 emalangeni (SZL20.8B) dated 2025.

While the new banknotes are very similar to the ones dated 2024, these have the signatures of the new authorities and additional anti forgery features.
