The Sveriges Riksbank has signed an agreement with De La Rue on printing Swedish banknotes.
Previously these notes were printed by Crane, which closed its Tumba subsidiary, and moved operations to Malta. The Riksbank requires that the printing of its banknotes should be nade in northern or central Europe, thus the contract with Crane was terminated.
