As the new notes denominated in Caribbean dollars are issued at the end of March, the old ones in Antillean guilders will remain in circulation for two months, and will be redeemable afterward for one year at commercial banks. After 1 June 2026 they will be exchanged until 31 May 2056 at the offices of the Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten in Willemstad and Oranjestad.

The exchange of large amounts will be subject to the presentation of documentation of origin of funds.
