On 17 June the Central Bank of Curaçao and Saint Martin announced that the one time redemption of amounts up to 20,000 Antillean gulden for the new currency do not require an appointment. The old limit was 2,500 gulden.

This change was made to facilitate the redemption for people who do not have a bank account.
