In addition to the official rate which apply to transactions by government entities, and the one for official imports and exports, the Central Bank of Cuba has opened a third segment which competes with the informal market.

This is a sample of the new indicative rates as of 19 December 2025:

These are indicative rates.  CADECA, commercial banks and private entities can fix their own rates, which tend to be close to the official ones.

CADECA and banks buy unlimited quantities of foreign currency. Sale is limited.
