Gaceta Oficial reported in early December that the Decreto-Ley (Executive order) 113 modified the Decreto-Ley 361 to empower Banco Central de Cuba to authorize foreign banknotes to become legal tender currency.

Most likely notes in U.S. dollars, euros and Canadian dollars will be the first to be approved.
