The Banco de Cabo Verde has decided to withdraw from circulation the banknotes of 200 escudos dated 2005 (CVE200.3) and 2,000 escudos dated 1999 (CVE2,000.1), effective 17 November 2017. The time to redeem them at its main office until 16 November 2027.
