Jasmina Selimović, Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has announced the issue of new improved banknotes expected.

These will be issued in 2028, to coincide with 30th Anniversary of the creation of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

While there will be no major changes in their design the security features will be improved, environmentally friendly materials will be used, and they will be modified to help people with impaired vision.
