The Royal Bhutan Monetary Authority has placed in circulation on 2 January its new banknotes of 100 (BTN100.7), 500 (BTN500.4) and 1,000 ngultrum (BTN1.000,3.)

 

These are printed on polymer substrate and have very advance security features.
