The Central Bank of Belize informed yesterday 26 September 2024 that it has chosen the persons to be honored in its new family of notes. They are George Cadle Price and Philip Goldson. Both were prominent statesmen recipients of the “Order of National Hero.”

The design of the notes will be made public in early 2025, and their issue is expected later that year.
