Bangladesh Bank is set to issue several denomination of their new family of banknotes ahead of the Eid-ul-Azha.

Their details are:

5 taka  (BDT5.5)  With the images of student activists Abu Sayeed and Mir Mahfuzur Rahman Mugdho. Its release to circulation is being delayed because of problems in the provision of paper.

10 taka (BDT10.5)  With symbol of Youth Unity and the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. To be issued at a later date.

20 taka (BDT20.5)  Kantajiu Temple and Buddhist temples. To be issued 27 May 2025.

50 taka (BDT50.9)  Zainul Abedin “Famine” sketchings and the Atia Mosque. To be issued 29 or 30 May 2025.

100 taka (BDT100.8)  Sundarbands Mangrove Forest and spotted deer and Bengal tiger. To be issued at a later date.

200 taka (BDT200.2)  Diversity theme with a Mosque, a temple, a church and a pagoda. To be issued at a later date.

500 taka (BDT500.4)  Ahsan Manzil Museum in Dhaka. To be issued at a lated date.

1,000 taka (BDT1,000.3)  Bangabhaban Government Palace and National Martyr’s Memorial. To be issued 2 June 2025.
