The Central Bank of The Bahamas announced yesterday that it will issue its new banknote of 100 dollars (BSD100.5) of the CRISP Evolution family on 6 October 2021.
It honors Founding Father of The Bahamas Arthur D. Hanna, former Governor General, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, and member of Parliament from 1960 to 1999.
His portrait replaces that of Queen Elizabeth II, which is maintained on the 50 cents banknote of the CRISP Evolution family of notes.
