The Central Bank of Armenia has opened a contest for the design of the new family of notes.

Their colors will be:

1,000 drams  (AMD 1,000.4) purple, 

2,000 drams  (AMD 2,000.1)  brown,

5,000 drams  (AMD 5,000.5) red, 

10,000 drams (AMD 10,000.3) grey, 

20,000 drams (AMD 20,000.4) green,

50,000 drams (AMD 50,000.2) golden.
