The not yet issued banknotes with portraits of famous Argentines presented in 2022 will not be issued. It is being studied whether it is possible to modify them with an additional zero to increase their value tenfold.

For political reasons it is most likely that the denomination of 100 pesos (ARS100.7) with the portrait on Eva María Duarte de Perón will not be printed. Those of 1,000 pesos with the portrait of José de San Martin (ARS1,000.2) continue to be in use.
