It has become apparent that the new family of notes announced six months ago is not near to be released to circulation.

In fact, as reported by Chubutonline.com Banco Central de la República Argentina has not even sent the printing order to S.E. Casa de Moneda, the National Mint. 

The only signal of some action toward advancing the project seems to be the Call for Bids issued a week ago by S.E. Casa de Moneda for the provision of offset inks to be used for the printing of “$1,000 San Martin” to be opened on 30 November 2022.
