A legal action was filed against the National Government, Banco Central de la República Argentina, Sociedad de Estado Casa de Moneda by visually impaired people and several groups which represent them to require the improvement of the features which help them recognize the banknotes of the new family to be issued in the near future.

They claim that the banknotes of the new family do not conform with the United Nations International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities of 2006. 

The lawsuit requests that printing of the Banknotes notes be suspended until the matter is resolved.
