The text of recent publications about currency import and export seem to indicate that now gold must also be included in the declaration; and that the export by travelers of currency, both local or foreign, and gold in excess of USD10,000 is forbidden.  

Import continues to be free, subject to declaration for amounts in excess of USD10,000.
