The Banco Central de la República Argentina will present tomorrow its new banknote of 20 pesos (ARS20.3), which will be the smallest denomination in its new family of notes.
The new note will be introduced tomorrow in Rio Grande, Tierra del Fuego, which is an habitat for the huanaco depicted on it. Distribution of the notes into circulation will begin on Wednesday, to gradually replace the previous note of the same value. Coins of 5 and 10 pesos will be issued before the year’s end to gradually replace banknotes of the same value.
