New banknotes of 500 lekë (ALL500.4) and 2,000 lekë (ALL2,000.2) issued today complete the new family of notes.

The motifs are similar to those of the previous family.

Their sizes are 132 x 69 mm and 146 x 72 mm respectively.

The banknotes of the previous family continue to be in use.
