Mikhail Alekseiev, Deputy Chairman of Bank Rossiya, announced that the Board of Directors of the Bank Rossiya approved a conceptual sketch of the modernized 100-ruble banknote (RUB100.6), which includes such symbols of Moscow as Red Square, the Zaryadye Center, Shukhov Tower, the Moscow State University building on Vorobyovy Gory and others,

He has previously stated that the banknotes of the new family will be released as follows:

100 rubles (RUB100.6) in 2022,

1,000 rubles (RUB1,000.4) and 5,000 rubles (RUB5,000.3) in 2023,

500 rubles (RUB500.4) in 2024, and

10 rubles (RUB10.2) and 50 rubles (RUB50.4) in 2025.
