The banknote of the 50,000 livres dated 2016 (on top) and the new one  dated 2019 recently issued, shown here at the bottom, have a few visible differences, as follows:

1. In the 2016 banknote (LBP50,000.4B) the undulated figure at top right is greener. On its back there is an ornamental band, a sunlike stylized design printed on translucent ink. The diamond at center is green and blue.
2. In the back of the 2019 banknote (LBP50,000.4C) the Arabic serial numbers are smaller; the diamond on the center is only blue, and it lacks the decorative band, value and stylized sunlike design printed on translucent ink.
