There are varieties in the 50 (VES50.1), 100 (VES100.1), 200 (VES200.1) and 500 bolívares soberanos (VES500.1). These are:

50 bolívares soberanos: there are three dates, 15 January 2018, 13 March 2018 and 18 May 2018. There are no obvious differences, but it is quite possible that these were produced by different fiscal printers, thus having some minute differences. It is also possible that the substrates were produced by different paper mills.

100 bolívares soberanos: There are three dates, 15 January 2018, 22 March 2018 and 18 May 2018. There are no obvious differences, but it is quite possible that these were produced by different fiscal printers, thus having some minute differences. It is also possible that the substrates were produced by different paper mills.

200 bolívares soberanos: The ones dated 15 January 2018 (VES200.1A) have a blue segmented security thread; those dated 13 March 2018 (VES200.1B) have a purple one.

500 bolívares soberanos: There are two dates, 15 January 2018 (VES500.1A) and 18 May 2018 (VES500.1B). The serial numbers in the ones dated in May seem to be thinner than that of January. It is quite possible that these were produced by different fiscal printers, thus having some minute differences. It is also possible that the substrates were produced by different paper mills.
