The National Assembly, facing the scarcity of circulating cash, proposed the printing of new notes of 50,000 and 100,000 bolivares.  It also considered over stamping low denomination notes with higher values, like it was done in Nicaragua in the 1990’s; or to add 3 zeros to the old 100 bolivares notes.
