The validity of the 100 bolívares banknote (VEF100.1) has been extended until May 20. It takes more than 5 pounds of these (2,300 notes) to buy one U.S. dollar in the free market.

This bill is being called “the immortal” because by now this is the 13th time in which its legal tender status has been extended.
