The Bank of Korea announced that it will issue the 2,000 won Winter Olympic commemorative note (KRW2,000.1) on November 17. It will take longer for the notes to reach the market.

It will print 2,300,000 sheets , each with 24 notes, and will sell 920,000 single sheets, 210,000 uncut two note sheets, and 40,000 uncut 24-note sheets. 

It will not be intended for circulation. The PyeongChang Organizing Committee will buy them in bulk and resell them to local and overseas buyers.
