The new banknote of 1,000 new ougiya (MRU1,000.1) has been recently issued.  The Central Bank was waiting for the old 1,000 ougiya notes (MRO1,000.1 and MRO1,000.2) to be withdrawn, to avoid confusion with the new note of 1,000 new ougiya, which is worth ten times more.
